SIGNATURE + JOJO

Our Trusty Steeds

Signature and Jo have been part of our four-legged family for quite some time. They like to remind us they were here BEFORE the cows. Both are super goodnatured geldings and love a good trail ride.

Memphis

Go Big or Go home

What can  we  say? Our lives would not be complete without a  dog.  And while no one could replace his predecessors, Memphis has maneuvered his way into our hearts rather quickly.  We adopted him in January 2019 through Austin Pets Alive.   Patrick has always liked the Rottweiler  breed and after visiting some area shelters we found this guy.  The minute we met him he rolled over for tummy scratches, with all four legs in the air like William used to do.  There wasn't a lot of deliberation after that. He's settled in quite nicely here at ENL. It's been fun to watch him learn that while he's no small fry - the cows and horses are bigger.

DUKE

10/2004 - 11/2018

The Duke of Elgin, was a happy ranch dog and a crucial part of our circle of furry friends.  We're glad he was able to live out the later part of his years at the ranch.

WILLIAM

2/2008 - 12/2018

Sir William of Elgin was as rare as he was wonderful. He came to us from a very different world than ranch life but fell in perfectly and gave as much happiness as he got. We lost him to cancer - proving it to be a ruthless disease in animals AND people.

IZZY

1/2008 - 5/2020

Izzy was our little cat queen. Hard to believe she was just a tiny feral kitten when our youngest daughter worked to gain her trust and make her part of the family. She was a great addition.
